A brass fireplace fender. Made of one continuous, bent piece of brass. At the bottom of the two bent corners are designs of lions heads which also kind of act as feet to help balance the fender. There are elaborately designed cut outs on the upper two thirds of the fender. There are also raised edges around the piece of brass, though the edge at the bottom is wider than the edges on the top and sides. The back of the fender shows more signs of damage. There are no marks visible.
