McCormack thanks Fumiko Matsuki for his hospitality and efficiency with reference to McCowen's recent trip to the far east. He indicates that it was decided last night that Wimbledon would try and get more small licensees in Japan to help expose the brand and the Wimbledon image. He explains that it was also decided that they should make a major play for casual wear and that Schoenfeld can send him the appropriate brochures and they would appreciate his effort. McCormack asks for Matsuki's opinion about a trip to Japan by officials of the club in late 1990 when there will be a new chairman of Wimbledon. He notes that this would be a good opportunity for the new chairman to meet the Japanese licensees and television networks.
