Will send reports on local FOR groups; glad that Margaret Rohrer is coming out. Gave an address on 'Obliteration bombing and unconditional surrender' which "gave me a chance to get a strong pacifist message across to some 350 people, and as might be imagined I took quite a beating in hour and a half of questioning that followed. However, I was much encouraged, for this was a general audience, and while there were some who took the attitude that it was treason to talk like this in war time, the response as a whole was surprisingly favorable."
