It is unlikely that Yamada would be segregated at Tule Lake if he walks out of CPS camp. Thoughts on refusal to go to CPS camp or cooperate with the war effort; thoughts about cooperating with the prison system. Since Foote left McNeil, several men have gone on hunger or work strike and were then moved into solitary confinement, though Yamada could wait until he is imprisoned to decide.
