Width of road: 18 ft. Travelled way: width 6 ft., grade 5 ft. per 100. Surface: crowned 18 in., soft, uneven, loose sand with ruts 12 in. deep material: sand with grass growing in it sides: right, gradual slope 3 ft. then down steep, left, gradual slope 9 ft. then down slope gutters: right, natural slope down, left, natural slope down sidewalks: right, none, left, none. Remarks: A very bad road, for travelled way consists of wheel and horse ruts in the deep, loose sand.
