A 7" x 9" black and white photograph, evidently printed from a glass negative, showing a wood-frame house, barn, mature elm trees, and fences at the intersection of two dirt roads, with forest in the background. In the foreground are telephone or telegraph poles and wires. Back is inscribed, "At corner Chestnut St - Cahill Estate - and Boylston St. (from R to L) Wiswall's(?) Tavern c. 1808." The Cahill property was at the northwest corner of the intersection of Boylston Street and Chestnut Street.
