Housing and Urban Development's Peabody warns: ills catching up with suburbia

Malcolm E. Peabody Jr. met with members of the Interfaith Housing Corp to discuss how to get low and moderate income housing built in the suburbs as well as the cities. Peabody notes the compartmentalization of society between cities and suburbs and says that the suburbs are beginning to experience economic problems. Peabody discusses changes with the Department of Housing and Urban Development's plans regarding planning programs, grants, and prevention of discrimination in housing and real estate development.
