Recommendations for the consideration that must go into building specialized housing for people with disabilities. The basic requirements are that the housing should be free from architectural barriers, integrate disabled and able-bodied tenants where feasible, and provide supportive service where needed to enhance independent living. The document then briefly outlines the programs, positions, and committees that are necessary to ensure the development of adequate housing.
