A printed questionnaire by Edward Hitchcock intended to be sent out to obtain information for the geological survey of Massachusetts. The questionnaire includes questions about beds of marl, coal, ore, peat, clay, quicksand, and other interesting minerals or rocks. Hitchcock has written numerous calculations on most of the pages.
