<mods:abstract>Old turn of the century (1900) photographs of Provincetown from the I.L. Rosenthal Collection, courtesy of Cape Cod Photo, that appeared in The Summery Section of the Cape Codder newspaper circa 1968-9, under the heading 'Rear Window'. Photos include views of the town with wooden sidewalks, Railroad Wharf with a train on the tracks, the west end of Commercial St., a horse and buggy with a small child riding on the horse, a woman with a bicycle, a man canoeing, a blackfish stranding, Town Hall and a magnificent view of the harbor with schooners at anchor drying their sails. Also pictured is Frank G. Cook & Family posing outside his store and the workers at the fish filleting plant.</mods:abstract>
