An index created by Provincetown History Project volunteer Julia Louise Perry from a Journal kept by the Union Marine Railway of Vessels from which they bought fish between 1875 and 1894. The index includes a listing of the names of the Vessels and a separate listing of the names of the ship owners (including Nickerson, Paine, Conwell, Cook, Snow, Rich, etc.). The ship owners are from Provincetown, Truro, Wellfleet, Boston, Maine, and other places. The Journal is in the Pilgrim Monument Collection.
