<mods:abstract>This is a collection of pictures, biography and interviews with Hazel Hawthorne Werner. Hazel and her husband, Morris R. Werner were both writers and divided their time between New York and Provincetown. In her later years, Hazel spent much of her time in two dune shacks which she shared with many individuals who wanted to share her experience of living in the dunes. Hazel wrote a column for the New Beacon called "Flotsam and Jetsam".</mods:abstract>
