'Important to see civically-active youth positively engaged with the police. They are promoting health, in particular the harmful effects of smoking, as part of a grant through Tufts Medical Center's Asian Health Initiative. Why important to me? I was able to stand in mayor's office years earlier, come to Tufts, and work closely with the Chinatown community and support the community's health and well-being. Pictured, from back to front, left to right: (back) Mayor Martin J. Walsh (fourth from left), Police Commissioner William Evans (third from right), myself Sherry Dong (second from right), Captain Ken Fong (far right), and youth from the Boston Asian Youth Essential Service (YES).'
