'The library began hosting a noontime cookbook club called Cookin' The Books led by Lisa Crispin. It turned out to be a wonderful way for patrons and staff to participate in an event together. Everyone cooks from the same cookbook and then enjoys sampling all the other dishes while discussing the recipes. At this event, the cookbook author attended. The food on the table was prepared from 'Portuguese Homestyle Cooking' and 'Authentic Portuguese Cooking.'
