'This is the Wilmington High School English department's yearbook photo. This was my first year teaching here after having taught junior high school english before the birth of my children. Bob Hamilton, the department chair, was my close friend, as were Dan and Betsy Grecoe and Kory Hellmer. We had Bob's retirement party in the library in 1996. He died of complications of diabetes shortly thereafter.
