'I was the grand marshall of the 150th anniversary celebration parade. To be honored that way was wonderful. When they said I would be grand marshall, I started to laugh. I thought they were joking. To have John Lowell as co-marshall was wonderful. I said I would do it if they had a white horse--and they did!
