'This is my family. They were all born in Milan, Italy, and came to Boston via ship in 1886 (?) and later lived in Dorchester, then Malden. Louis was a stonemason and worked with the construction crew to build the Boston Public Library. Charles was a house painter. At the age of 23, he returned to Italy and died of painters colic. Joseph's first wife and child died of the flu epidemic in 1917.
