'My mom used to send me to Winquist's Dairy Farm to pick up a quart of milk in the mid-1950s. She'd give me a quarter and I'd have to bring back the 2 cents change. In the late 1970s the farm was made a housing development. The stone milk house is now a lovely home with a history to match. The property reached all the way to Ward Street and sustained well over a hundred Jersey milk cows. Their delivery trucks serviced many South Shore towns. Location: High Street, opposite Carletown Road.'
