'This picture is important to my family because that was the day [my mother's family] landed in America (Boston, MA) directly from VietNam. My [grandfather] was a refugee in 1980. It took him 10 years to bring his family of 9 kids and my [grandmother] coming to American on 8/16/1990. I like this photo because we girls work the Vietnamese traditional dress. Pictured, from left to right: my mother (in white dress), my grandfather, my grandmother (in Vietnamese traditional blue dress), my first aunt (in yellow dress), my second aunt (in red dress).
