'I had a dream in 1977 for all children to have an intense arts/music/dance experience. With a group of parents we founded Creative Arts in 1977. We began by hiring teachers who taught other musicians in the Reading Schools after school. When I retired in 1987 we had 1000 participants and a huge sousa and violin program. It is most heartwarming for me to know Creative Arts has been a strong past-time stimulation for the Arts in Reading and surrounding communities--now for 32 years; 1977 through the present.
