'There was a great rivalry between the basketball teams of West End House Athletic Association and the North End Union Athletic Club. This is a poster advertising two games between the first and second teams of both clubs, but not played at the West End House, which had no gym. Instead it was played at Ward Room on Blossom Street, which must have had a hall or gym.'
