'This is the earliest known photograph of Reeves Tavern built in 1762 by Jacob Reeves, Sr. It was tavern on old road to Connecticut from 1793-1820s. The photograph shows narrow width of Old Connecticut Path at the time and the house with original windows and barn with vertical board siding. Reeves Tavern was the 18th century house on the Five Century House Tour. Location: Old Connecticut Path.'
