'This is a letter that Dad's (John 'Peacie' Cook b. 1894) mother kept among her keepsakes. It was given to me after she died by an Aunt. It's interesting in that the ship Dad was stationed on, USS Covington, was sunk by a German U Boat. Obviously he was one of the survivors. Location: YMCA, New York City.'
