'I describe Lowell as 'a city of a thousand opportunities.' Since its beginning (mill factories) through today (education industries), Lowell has had a unique potential of offering opportunities to people from all walks of life--to progress and contribute, to receive and give. As a middle school teacher and a science teacher (for refugees), I feel as though I am a part of the city's potential. I am happy to be part of the Lowell Educational Community.
