'My husband, Ted Nalwalk, is seen carrying his backpack and some water. When camping on Gallops Island, you had to bring everything - tent, bedroll, sleeping bag, clothes, food, water, first aid, etc. Ted's pack weighed in at 90 pounds. We were exhausted by the time we got to the campsite, which was off the beaten track. We loved our island. We became team captains of Gallops.'
