'My father, Leonard Maidsman was drafted for Army service in 1942. Upon finishing his residency training, he was sent to Virginia for six months of field hospital training. This picture was taken three months before he was sent to England for further training and logistics preparation. He landed at Omaha Beach, D-Day plus four. Location: Camp Swampy.'
