'Our family had been very fortunate to participate in the Chinese exchange program at Sharon High School. In this photo we are hosting Thanksgiving dinner with two students and the teacher from Xian, China. They and 8 other students from Xian stayed in Sharon for two months in the fall of 2010. Then ten Sharon students (including our daughter, Emma) and a teacher visited the Xian school for seven weeks this spring 2011. This has been a fabulous opportunity for all involved, to make new friends and learn about different cultures. We hope that all students will have this wonderful opportunity.'
