'James McShane and Catherine Desmond McShane's large house at 549 Pleasant St., Malden was 'home' literally for many years and spiritually always to their children, grandchildren, and even two great grandchildren. This shows the McShanes with their three daughters and four of their grandchildren. Grandpa (or Paree as he was nicknamed) has been called away from yard work (note sickle and rake) to sit for a family photo.'
