A paper-bound notebook, titled "Common School Writing Book," used 1867-1872 as list of amounts charged to customers, and for what purpose, possibly for by a wheelwright or carriage maker. Names include John Hartwell, Jon. Fletcher, Tuttee, Fisher, and Flagg. Cover is printed "The Property of ____" with "Ellen A. Manning" written in in ink; however, there are pages missing from the beginning and it is possible that Ellen's partially-filled notebook was later repurposed as an account book for someone else.
