Forty-eight-pound Brittany Ornberg, 6, Westerly, tries to coax her family's Holstein, Lilah, toward the show ring at he Washington County Fair
Description:
From a series of images culled by Borchers for a slideshow of her work. Camera caption: "IRRESISTIBLE FORCE VS. IMMOVABLE OBJECT: Forty-eight-pound Brittany Ornberg, 6, Westerly, tries to coax her family's Holstein, LILAH, toward the show ring as she waits with her mother. The 37th Washington County Fair opens Wednesday, Aug. 13 at the fairgrounds, Route 112, Richmond. Among the things to photograph are kids in livestock competitions and a concession stand operated by The Odd Fellows, a service organization with an unusual name. These guys (and their wives) devote vacation time to selling food with the proceeds going to send kids to camp."
