After reading two chapters of Wasserman's manuscript for his book, "Harvey Wasserman's History of the United States," suggesting that each chapter could be cut in half, particularly from the portions about the robber barons. However, also remarking that the book is fine without major edits, and that it does a good job of "giving historical depth to the facts of control and rebellion in America."
