A photograph depicting what we believe was a trip of the Senior Class of 1916 of the International YMCA College, now Springfield College. The exact location of the picture is not known. The students are surrounded by two big buildings on the back and right side of the picture. Notice the policeman looking at the camera on the background, right side of the picture. Dr. Laurence L. Doggett stands in the middle, fifth from right to left on the first row.

Doggett served as Springfield's fourth president and its first full-time president. He served in this role for 39 years, from 1896 until his retirement in 1936 and remains the College's longest tenured president.
