This is a souvenir program from 1937 when the Springfield College men's basketball team played at Madison Square Garden. The first match-up was between St Francis (8 wins, 3 losses) and Springfield College. The second game was between Long Island U (18 wins, 1 loss) and Tennessee (8 wins, 2 losses). The program includes the records of the different teams playing in the tournament. Springfield College had a record of 9 wins and 1 loss, under the leadership of Head coach Ed Hickox. It also included the team roster for each team. The front of the program has a picture of the famous SC team that won the school championship in 1892, the first full year that basketball was played. It has nine of the original men to play the game.
