On the back of the image is a handwritten note "Presented by Canadian Students -- February 1901" and on the front is a label reading "Geo. H. Van Norman, Springfield." Geo H. Van Norman was most likely the photographer. The students in this image include: George Affleck (Class of 1901), H. R. Hadcock (Class of 1902), F. I. Grobb (Class of 1902), S. B. Wilson (Class of 1902), J. A. Lawrence (Class of 1901), D. A. C. Pinckney (Class of 1901), R. L .Wittig (Class of 1900)
