This postcard depicts the opening of the YMCA in Dairen, China in April 1911. People are shown seated in chairs, looking up at the stage or front of the room. On the stage are seated a number of men, with one with a handwritten arrow pointing to him with the word "Morise" above. This could be in reference to Yosokichi Morise, Class of 1909, who was involved in YMCA's in this region, though it is not known for sure. On the back of the postcard there is a printed caption which reads "Post card" in different languages, including French, Italian, English, Japanese and what we believe is Russian.
