This is an issue of Springfield Turner News that was published on June 1960 by Springfield Turnverein, Inc (Springfield, Massachusetts). On the cover is a photograph of Springfield College alumnus Jeff Cardinali on the pommel horse. The caption reads, “Yes, one Turner from Springfield ranks with the country’s finest gymnasts. To be exact, he is one of the twelve best men in the entire nation. We only hope that he will be chosen as one of the six who eventually will go to Rome to participate in the Olympic Games this summer.” On the inside is a long article called “What’s Los?” as well as a members’ business director. On the back is a list of officers and a few smaller news clips.
