Letter from Staff Sergeant Abraham Ozersky of the 168th Ordnance Depot Company. Abe has heard from many in "the old gang," and even from Rita. Things there are nice in Australia, and although they are busy they are near a large city and can get to town. Abe discusses the reversed seasons, how customs are similar to or more progressive than at home, and about the extensive use of slang. He does feel the unit is more serious there, perhaps being closer to the actual conflict and a desire to get it over as soon as possible.
