Letter from Corporal Abraham Ozersky of the 52nd Quartermaster Regiment. Abe has time to write as Corporal of the Guard, and thanks Ruth for her poem in the last letter. His company is in maneuvers in real field conditions in the woods north of Nashville, but the weather has been so nice it is more like hiking than "actual war problems." Their group of friends is scattered across the country, and soon maybe the world, and Abe looks forward to when they are all home back together again, perhaps with more appreciation due to current circumstances. Envelope is United Service Organization's and reminds that "Idle gossip sinks ships."
