Letter from Staff Sergeant Abraham Ozersky of the 168th Ordnance Depot Company, handwritten on Camp Rucker, Alabama, stationery. Tomorrow Abe will be on his way to "destination unknown," and so Ruth will have another V-mail correspondent. He heard recently from Lester, who is well, and Abe thinks perhaps his unit is headed that way. He recently saw James Cagney in "Johnny Come Lately." Abe closes by suggesting he may see Ruth and others sooner than they think, that "This [the war] isn't going on forever."
