Letter from Staff Sergeant Abraham Ozersky of the 168th Ordnance Depot Company. Abe's company is back on maneuvers in the woods of Tennessee, camping in pup tents and "being bitten by infinite numbers and species of insects." He heard from Rita, and is embarrassed that he missed her birthday. She seems to like her government job and Abe is glad that "Uncle Sam is a good boy to some of us at least." He thinks he may get a call from Officer Candidate School because he has recently been ordered to retake his medical exam.
