Letter from Staff Sergeant Abraham Ozersky of the 168th Ordnance Depot Company, handwritten on Camp Rucker, Alabama, stationery with printed photographs from camp. Abe is back at Camp Rucker because his unit has been put on alert and is making preparations for shipping out. The alert will halt his Officer Candidate School papers, but as he has had so many ups and downs with them he is not worried or bothered. Abe describes life and preparations as "easy but dull." He is perplexed by Rita, who writes less often Ruth. His old girlfriend, Frieda got married in June.
