The illustrated panels are in color and the text is in blue. Block (a) has letters A-D: A- Arabian Horse, B-Bees, C-Cows, D-Ducks. Block (b) has letters N-Q: N-Nuts, O-Owl, P-Pigs, Q- Quince. Block (c) has letters W-Z; W-Wheat, X-"on a bank note,// ten dollars 'tis clear; // on a barrel it stands for// the strength of the beer." Z- Zachary. Block (d) has letters E-H; E-Eggs, F-Fowl, G-Goat, H-Horse. Block (e) has letters I-M; I-Island, J-Johnny (I and J are on the same picture), K-Kittens, L-Lucy, M-Milk. Block (f) has leters R-V; R-Rabbits, S-Sheep, T-Turkey, U-Ursula, V-Vine (U and V are in the same picture). Four of the six sides of a block are covered in painted scenes of farm and country life. The remaining two sides have letters of the alphabet and poems describing the scenes.
