Beside him is Dr. Frank Seerley who later became the academic dean of Springfield College. The rest of the team, according to a handwritten note on the back of the photograph is - [top row]: Arthur W. Brown (Class of 1894); Frank N. Seerley (coach) (Class of 1890), James Naismith (Coach) (Class of 1891); William H. Kinnicutt (Class of 1894); Louis Welzmiller, Jr.(Class of 1894); and Maurice Ross (Class of 1894).
