After film school, Robert Orr headed to Hollywood figuring he'd sell his first script in 6-8 months. He took a job creating sets for Disney. 5 years and several scripts later, he sold nothing. He decided to leave Los Angeles at that point. He headed to Bosnia and spent time among the war there. Croats began killing Muslims. Robert Orr wrote "Savior", a screenplay based on the Bosnian war. It is the story of an American mercenary. Oliver Stone took on the script. The director, who is Serb, was uncomfortable making a movie about this side of the war. They rewrote the story on the Serb side. It became more about the war itself.
