<mods:abstract>This interior view shows the dining room at 25 Exeter Street in Back Bay, Boston, Massachusetts. A lamp sits on the dining table, around which four chiars are arranged. Various items, including candelabras and decanters, rest on the sideboard along the lefthand wall. Nathan Matthews helped to develop the Back Bay and built 25 Exeter Street in 1882-1884. William Bliss, president of the Boston and Albany Railroad, seems to have been the first resident. In the mid-1880s, his daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Hamilton Perkins, moved into the residence.</mods:abstract>
