Shrewsbury 29 --Caption title. Width of road: 37 ft. Traveled way: width 18 ft., grade 3 ft. per 100. Surface: crowned 3 in., soft and rough with loose stones material: dirt and gravel sides: right, covered with trees, slopes up, left, covered with trees, slopes up gutters: right, at edge of travelled way 4 in. deep, left, at edge of travelled way 3 in. deep sidewalks: right, none, left, none. Remarks: Sides drain into gutters, which being so shallow fill, causing water to run down travelled way.
