The ad presents an image of a bust of Alois Senefelder, the German inventor of the lithography, set in an architectural niche, flanked by a lithographic tools, inclusing a roller and stone, lithographs and the figures of Art and Industry. The copy promotes the achievements of the company in introducing the chromolithographic process of reproducing "first-class paintings" in the United States and the social benefits of the high quality of their chromolithographs and the superiority of its work.</mods:abstract>
