"Scrap Book": photographs of Pauline Lindsay and her friends and family
Description:
Album presumably put together by Pauline Lindsay, with a handwritten title in the front that reads, "The Best Moving Pictures And Entertainments I Have Seen During 1938 And 1939." The first page of the album has a magazine clipping of a photograph of Mickey Rooney glued onto it. The rest of the album consists of snapshots of Pauline Lindsay and her friends and family. Also included are photographs of a camp she was at in 1938, with some snapshots of cabin mates and other girls at the camp. Several photographs are of locations in Gloucester and Rockport, and one is of Wakefield. There are some images of Pauline's pets, including cats and a bunny. Photographs of the family's cars seem to have some importance. At the back of the album are some loose leaf sheets of what appear to be Pauline's homework. It is a paper called "English Authors, 1332-1668" on which she got a C.
