These photographs document the earliest examples of surviving architecture in Boston, Roxbury, Dorchester, Jamaica Plain, Brookline, Brighton, Newton, Watertown, Cambridge, Medford, Somerville, Revere (Point Shirley), Danvers, Ipswich and West Newbury, Massachusetts. Duplicates of these photographs are filed in the General Photographic Collection - Standard-Size Prints. The album was created by Benjiman French & Co. in 1900.
