Letter from James Fowler Lyman to Benjamin Smith Lyman
Description:
He believes that he can get a man to represent himself in the draft. He is having trouble finding a representative recruit for Benjamin at a reasonable price since they would have to travel to Philadelphia. Benjamin should be in no danger for the draft since he is in Nova Scotia, therefore there is plenty of time to find a representative. Includes envelope.
